Kyoto in summer (夏之古都) - PART 2

20 June -21 June
金閣寺(Golden Pavilion Palace), one of the best known attraction in Kyoto.

400 yen per entry.
It's a clear day, the temple shimmered against the blue sky. The temple is not the original , but a rebuilt one.

Do know notice there are something glimmering on the dessert? That's 金泊!

Japan is well known of vending machines everyone knows, if you don't understand that's fine, there are english , chinese and korean version of omikuji as well.

龍安寺、view more informationa at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryoanji

北野天満宮, this temple is dedicated to a famous scholar back in the day. Many students often come here to pray for their success in entrance exam in schools or university as this place known of " The god od study"

So-called Ushi-san ( Mr.Cow)

It's believed that stroking the Ushi-san head ,you get smarter!!

SEE.

After a long walk today, we're back to Kyoto Station to have our dinner.

Though Hiroshima is famous of Okonomiyaki, and yet my tripmate Kana ordered Okonomiyaki coz it's looked tasty! In fact, it's the best Okonomiyaki that I've tried so far . May be we're too hungry hehe.

JOM, the place we stayed was a typical Japanese Style Guesthouse with tatami. 2200 yen /person. There's no toilet in the room, the room is JUST a room. haha.. The toilet is shared. If you have limited budget , this type of guesthouse would be your preference, merely a place for you to spend a night .
