Onomichi 尾道 (Part 1)

Onomichi is a small port city in Hiroshima Perfecture, it is known for its several ancient temples and the home of several Japan's famous authors.

The Statue of Fumiko Hayashi (林芙美子), who was a famous author and poet , born in Kyushu.

We had our lunch in this Ramen Shop, recommended by a travel magazine. A very small shop, i think could fit in 10 people only. The entrance is so narrow and not noticeable.

Ahahhh.. 老板推荐的高人气中华天妇罗拉面. The soup is nice and fragrant, dunno what did they use making the soup had such fragrance , it's not like flower scent. Most probably secret recipe, haha..

Heading to Senkoji (千光寺)

Onomichi Ropeway - the 3mins journey to the top will set you back ¥280/440 one-way/return.

This is where I tried the Sakura flavor and Mikan flavor Ice Cream.

They have variety product of sakura, such as candle, soap, biscuit, and chocolate..

This is how the temple path looks like. Follow the white stoned path & it will take you to the various temples along the tour.
